YES! If you have a SNAP card, you can sign up for basic Internet at AT&T or Comcast. It's $10 a month, no contract, no equipment rental. No tricks! If you do not have a SNAP (EBT) card, apply for one (Note: You must be within the income limit. Here are the rules. But let's assume you have an EBT card or will have one soon. What do you get? Well, this is about cheap Internet. You get a download speed that is adequate for watching videos without the pauses to reload data. That is a big plus. Of course you use an EBT card at the grocery store and that helps pay for food items, but you can also use an EBT card to order food from Walmart, and any delivery charge is paid with EBT.I Raley does not deliver in Placerville! Safeway and Save Mart use InstaCart to deliver, but I have not used those. With Walmart (the Folsom store) you have a much better chance of getting what you want, the local store does not carry many items.as. And as is commonly on the news, supplies are sometimes out of stock. A BONUS with SNAP is that you get to have Amazon Prime for half price, paid monthly. That's about $7 on your credit card, and you get all the Prime free delivery, and stuff like videos and music. Check their Pantry for grocery items!
