I solely use the Echo Dot and it's on the fireplace mantle next to the TV. There is one Amazon commercial where this young red headed man walks through the streets of New York City asking Alexa questions. This of course sets off my Dot everytime it hears Alexa. You can choose 3 other "wake" words so I may have to change it. They are all pretty lame. Amazon, Echo, and Computer are the other choices. I wish it could be customized. I'd call it Hal like on 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I asked a calendar question: Alexa, What is the calendar date of the second wednesday in january 2020?
I thought that was specific enough. Alexa didn't:
The 2nd Wednesday in November is November 13, 2019.
I asked again: Alexa, What is the date of the second wednesday in january 2020?
Here's something I found on the web. According to luc.edu: The last day to withdraw from the term without a grade penalty (no mark of W recorded) is Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 11:59 pm. Learn More On luc.edu - - -
I asked Siri. Siri said "The second Wedbnesdayin January is the 8th." Siri wins.
