Let's hope you are far away from the white bread of yesterday, and aware that whole grain breads are way better. But here is a news flash: Sprouted grain breads are even better!
Why are sprouted grains better?
"Enzymes are released during the sprouting process, which break down proteins and carbohydrates. This process helps make sprouted grain food low glycemic* and easier to digest. Traditional grain breads are harder to digest, and the body loses a good portion of the nutrients because it is unable to digest them."

* Low glycemic is a plus, particularly for diabetics but also good for everyone. A low slow hit (sugar spike) from the carbohydrates.
I favor the bread fro Trader Joe's OR the Alvarado brand found at Raley's. I know there are other brands, I just don't look for them. Even better news: the bread is a little less expensive than a lesser brand, say, Orowheat Whole Wheat!
