What type of bulbs do you have in your apartment? Years ago I replaced my incandescent bulbs with compact florescents. I've been slowly replacing the compact florescents with LED bulbs as they burn out. I like the LED light much better than the CFL bulbs but they are pricey.

I had to chase that down. I buy bulbs so seldom now, but I see that last two I ordered are Philips LED 60-Watt equivalent, $6.00. Funny flat bulbs, they last a long time. Instantly on, fully bright, no slow warm up.
